DESCRIPTION: Tillandsia capitata is a species in the genus Tillandsia. It is native to Mexico, Honduras, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. This is one of the easier Tillandsia to care for. Capitata Peach can grow to be up to a foot in size at their largest, but our current crop is between 4"-5", which is the size pictured. Capitata Peach gets its name for the fact that it turns peach-like colors when exposed to high light and during bloom. This is a great species to add to your collection. If you order these during a non-blushing season, we may enhance them with a floral dye to achieve better peach color.
