DESCRIPTION:
This is the “Giant” form of neglecta - be aware that it is not actually a giant air plant, but instead a giant form for its typical small size. Standard neglecta only grow to be an inch or two, but these can get three times that.
Neglecta is an awesome small growing species that is great for your smaller displays. They also have a serious pupping habit, creating upward of 12+ pups off each plant.
Tillandsia neglecta is native to Ecuador. It is primarily found in the Andean region of the country, growing in cloud forests at elevations between 1,500 and 3,000 meters (4,900 to 9,800 feet) above sea level.
