DESCRIPTION: There is some dispute over whether or not this plant can be described as its own species or if it is simply a variety of Tillandsia juncea. Most all juncifolia found in the USA have been imported from Guatemalan growers. Juncifolia is a stunning plant that exhibits a beautiful color palette of forest green with red blush at its tips. Junceus is a Latin adjective that means “rushy” or “reeded” and also designates that what is “pleasant” and “delightful”.
SPECIAL NOTE: This plant is brown at the base and has a dry feeling to its leaves. This is natural for the plant and does not indicate any sign of distress or lack of health.
