SIZE: Medium - approx 4"
DESCRIPTION: This plant is naturally black at the base - it is not indicative of rot.
Tillandsia filifolia has a beautiful branching purple inflorescence that grows to be twice the size of the plant it is coming off of. It is very similar to fuchsii var gracillis, but grows substantially larger. Filifolia can be found growing in Costa Rica and parts of Mexico.
These are currently the largest filifolia we know that are being offered online. It is very rare to find them at this size. We are offering some at the size shown here.
