DESCRIPTION: Tillandsia ixioides, is a distinctive air plant characterized by its unique appearance. Typically growing in clumps or as solitary plants, it has slender, arching leaves that can vary in color from green to silver-gray. The leaves are very firm and covered in fine, silvery trichomes that give them a slight fuzzy texture, aiding in water absorption.
During its flowering period, Tillandsia ixioides produces an elegant bloom that is yellow in color. After flowering, this species readily offsets - it is quite prolific.
